Interpretation

Six Yao (Lines) with Classical Quotes

English: Advancing and retreating — beneficial for the determination of a warrior. A certain decisiveness and courage is needed to hold one's gentle direction.

Luck Level: Neutral

English: Penetrating beneath the bed, using shamans and diviners in great numbers — good fortune, no blame. Gentle penetration through subtle and spiritual means reaches even hidden problems.

Luck Level: Good

3rd Yao (三爻)

English: Frequent and repetitive gentleness — regret. Over-repetition of the gentle approach without decisiveness loses effectiveness.

Luck Level: Caution

English: Regret disappears — the hunt catches three kinds of game. Patient and persistent pursuit through the gentle approach finally yields abundant results.

Luck Level: Good

English: Perseverance brings good fortune, regret disappears, nothing is unfavorable. No beginning but there is an end. Three days before and three days after the change — good fortune. Careful timing around turning points yields the best results.

Luck Level: Good

English: Penetrating beneath the bed — loses axe and resources. Persistence brings misfortune. Excessively subtle or secretive maneuvering ultimately costs more than it gains.

Luck Level: Misfortune
