Meaning

Represents abundance, great wealth, and possession of many things. The fire of wisdom shines over heaven, illuminating everything. True great possession comes with the responsibility to share wisely and to govern with virtue, not to hoard.

Six Yao (Lines) with Classical Quotes

1st Yao (初爻)

无交害,匡咎;鉴则无咎。

English: No dealings with what is harmful — no blame. Being aware of difficulties ahead and remaining cautious: no blame. In times of great abundance, stay alert to potential dangers.

English: Not making a show of abundance — no blame. Those who do not flaunt their wealth or power avoid arousing envy and remain secure.

English: Sincerity that is manifest in exchanges, dignity that is felt — good fortune. The great leader who is both genuinely trustworthy and commanding wins the hearts of all.

English: Heaven itself blesses and protects — good fortune in all things. The person who is in harmony with heaven's way is blessed from above.
